Rob Dellorfano

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR/DRAMA TEACHER

Rob started teaching theatre at San Marcos High School in 2002, and had the honor of founding the MHHS Grizzly Theatre Program when the school opened in 2004. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from both Arizona State University (BFA in Theatre Education), as well as the University of Phoenix (MBA). Under his leadership, the Grizzly Theatre has earned many accolades, including recognition as a “Distinguished Theatre Program” in San Diego County, the charter “Honor Crew” at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido, and the Bravissimo Choice Award, among others. Favorite shows at MHHS include Sweeney Todd, She Kills Monsters, Mamma Mia!, Radium Girls, Carrie – the musical, Green Day’s American Idiot, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, John Lennon and Me, Bone Chiller, Bye Bye Birdie, 12 Angry Jurors, and Urinetown. He would like to thank all of the countless folks who have made the shows fantastic; the Grizzly Theatre Boosters; and his amazing and inspirational wife Stacy for their unwavering love and support. “We’re all stories in the end. George Gonzalez

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR/SET DESIGNER

George has had the privilege of designing all over San Diego but calls north county home. A resident of Vista, his credits include designing costumes, props and sets for the Palomar College Theatre department for many years as well as sets for the California Youth Conservatory at the Lyceum in downtown SD. Some projects have included COSAs Mamma Mia, a Year with Frog and Toad and Sweeney Todd for Patio Playhouse. George currently works teaching music and drama all over north county through Luminary Arts’ teaching artist program. He is also the designer for Luminary Arts. As head scenic artist for Center Theatricals in Escondido he has lead his team in painting A Light in the Piazza, the world premiere WITNESSES, Aint Misbehavin’, and the world premiere Bottle Shock! He has also had the joy of being the scenic designer for Center Theatricals acclaimed production of Sunday in the Park With George. After designing and Tech Directing SHE KILLS MONSTERS, and SWEENEY TODD, George was super stoked to lead the team in creating the world of CLUE. “Break a leg, grizzlies!” A special thanks to artist Brenda Townsend for your continued contributions to our shows!
